Updating Your Details

Keep your contact information, classification, and preferences up to date in DACdb.

Why keep your details current?

DACdb is the source of truth for member contact information across the district. If your phone number, email address, or postal address changes, updating DACdb ensures that your club and district can reach you.

It also feeds into the official Rotary International directory, so keeping it accurate matters.

How to update your details

  1. Log in to DACdb.
  2. Click the My DATA tab in the top navigation menu.
  3. Click Edit Member.
  4. You will see tabs for different sections of your profile: personal details, contact information, classification, and login settings.
  5. Update the fields you need to change.
  6. Click the Update button in the upper right of the window to save your changes.
What can you change yourself? Most members can update their own phone number, email address, home address, and classification. Some fields (such as your name or member ID) can only be changed by your club secretary or the district.

Privacy settings

DACdb allows you to control which contact details are visible to other members.

  • When editing your profile, look for privacy or visibility toggles next to fields like phone number and address.
  • If you set a field to private, other members will not see it when they look you up. District and club officers may still have access for administrative purposes.

Changing your email address

If you update your email address in DACdb, be aware that:

  • Your DACdb username is tied to your email. When you save a new email, DACdb may offer to update your login username to match. Accept this so your login stays current.
  • You should also update your email in My Rotary so both systems stay in sync.
