Club Website and Social Media Audit

A free, scored review of your club's online presence, with a prioritised action plan.

What it is

A free service from the District 9660 Public Image team: a structured, evidence-based review of your club's public website and social media. You receive a scored report and a prioritised action plan, and most of the fixes need no technical help.

The audit looks at your club the way a prospective member does, moving through five stages. A club can be strong at one stage and weak at another, so each is scored separately and rated Green, Amber or Red, with an overall grade out of 100.

The five lenses

Lens The question it answers
Findability Can a local even find you? Google Business Profile, showing up for "Rotary [your town]", and search visibility.
Compliance Are you legitimate and usable by everyone? Correct Rotary branding, a privacy notice, website accessibility, a youth safeguarding statement, and a secure (HTTPS) site.
Attractiveness Does the site look good and welcoming? Design, photos that pass the "would I fit in here" test, mobile-friendliness, and readability.
Currency Does it look alive? Current events, this year's committee, a recent news feed, and no out-of-date content.
Conversion Can an interested visitor act? A clear "join us" path, honest answers about cost and time, a working enquiry form, and meeting details a stranger can turn up to.

What you receive

  • A scorecard across the five lenses plus an overall grade.
  • Priority actions, ranked so the highest-value fix is first.
  • Quick wins your website manager can do now, and structural improvements that may need the site owner.
  • Every finding tagged to a lens, with a plain-English recommendation.
  • If you have been audited before, a "What Changed Since Last Audit" section showing your progress.
  • The report as both a document for your records and an email you can forward to your committee.

What we check on social media

We review whichever platforms you have (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok): profile completeness, how often you post, your content mix, whether your profiles link back to your website, and whether your club name, logo, meeting details and contact stay consistent across your website and every social account.

How to request an audit. Email Keiran Rodgers at keiran.rodgers@rotary9660.org.au or raise a ticket at support.rotary9660.org.au, with your club name, website address, and links to your social media accounts. We send the report back to you and are happy to help you work through the recommendations.
