You may be able to reset your own password without contacting IT, using Microsoft's Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR).
Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a feature of Microsoft 365 that lets you reset your own forgotten password — safely, securely, and without needing to call or email IT.
It works by verifying it is really you through your phone (the same phone you registered for MFA during setup). Once verified, you can choose a brand-new password.

Enter your Rotary email address (e.g. jane.smith@rotary9660.org.au)
and complete the CAPTCHA (the "I'm not a robot" checkbox), then click
Next.
Microsoft will verify your identity using one of the methods you set up during your initial account setup:
Once verified, you will be asked to enter and confirm your new password. Choose a strong password — see the tips on the Change Your Password page.
Click Finish. Your password has been reset! You can now sign in to Microsoft 365 with your new password.
