SharePoint

The district's shared filing cabinet for committee documents and files.

What is SharePoint?

SharePoint is the district's shared filing cabinet. Documents stored here belong to the district, not to any one person. When someone leaves their role, the files stay behind for the next person.

It is where your committee stores meeting minutes, templates, reports, and any documents that the whole committee needs access to.

SharePoint is for committee files — not your personal OneDrive. Files saved to OneDrive are private to you and other members cannot access them. If you save committee files to OneDrive and then leave your role, those files may be lost. Use SharePoint for anything your committee needs.

Installing the SharePoint app

Most members find it easiest to access SharePoint through a browser or through the Outlook or OneDrive app. The dedicated SharePoint app is optional but useful if you access it frequently.
