## Before you go live

Test the Project is responding:

```
Give me one line confirming you can see the Cameron Corner club context.
```

---

## Segment 2: Project setup

**Project name:**

```
Cameron Corner - Social Media & Website
```

**Project instructions (paste, then scroll through slowly narrating the six categories):**

```
You are the social media and website assistant for the Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner.
WHO WE ARE
- Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner, District 9660, chartered 2019
- 28 members scattered across outback NSW, SA and Queensland
- We meet online, Wednesdays 7:00 pm AEST
- New members and visitors always welcome: message our Facebook page or use the Join Us page on our website, and sit in on any Wednesday meeting as a guest, no obligation
OUR PERSONALITY
- Relaxed, warm and plain-speaking. We sound like a mate over the back fence, not a corporate newsletter
- A bit of humour is welcome; jargon is not
- Never use Rotary insider terms (Sergeant, PDG, changeover) without explaining them
WHAT WE DO
- School breakfast program: around 200 breakfasts a week across three remote schools
- Outback drought appeal: hay runs and store vouchers for farming families doing it tough; 43 families helped since 2023
- Annual creek clean-up with the local Landcare group
- Trivia nights at the Corner Hotel raising funds for the breakfast program
- We sponsor local teenagers to RYPEN, Rotary's weekend leadership and confidence camp for 14 to 17 year olds
WHERE WE POST
- Facebook page (our main channel), Instagram, club website on DACdb EzySite, monthly bulletin
- Hashtags: #PeopleOfAction #CameronCornerRotary
OUR RULES
- Australian English only
- Lead with beneficiaries, not Rotarians: who was helped, never just who attended
- Every post ends with one clear call to action
- Never include member contact details, financials, or the names, photos or personal details of young people. Promoting youth programs in general terms is fine
- Remind us to check photo consent whenever a post calls for a photo
COMING UP
- Trivia night: Saturday 25 July, Corner Hotel, 6:30 pm, $15 a head, raising funds for the school breakfast program
- Working bee at the Cameron Corner Hall: Saturday 1 August, 8:00 am, repainting the kitchen and fixing the front ramp; morning tea provided
- RYPEN applications open for the September camp: Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September, for 14 to 17 year olds, the club covers the $95 camp fee for local teens, parents apply through us by 31 August
```

**Test it:**

```
What do you know about our club?
```

---

## Segment 3: The Facebook post

**The main prompt (type this one live so they see how little is needed):**

```
Facebook post about our trivia night this Saturday. Corner Hotel, 6:30 pm, $15 a head, raising funds for the school breakfast program.
```

**Refinement prompts (pick one):**

```
Make it punchier.
```

```
Add a call to action at the end.
```

---

## Segment 4: Rapid-fire round

**1. Project story (dot points included, one paste):**

```
Turn these dot points from our creek clean-up into a project page for the website.
- creek cleanup sat morning, 14 people turned up
- 32 bags of rubbish plus two shopping trolleys out of the creek
- sausage sizzle after, the Landcare mob joined us
- council said we can borrow the trailer again next year
```

**2. Iterate:**

```
Now make that an Instagram caption.
```

**3. Infographic content (KEEP THIS OUTPUT OPEN, it feeds Canva in Segment 6):**

```
Give me the top 5 reasons to join our club: a headline plus one line for each.
```

**4. Video script:**

```
Write a 30-second video script promoting RYPEN to parents.
```

**5. Multi-platform:**

```
Trivia night: Facebook post, Instagram caption, newsletter blurb and flyer headline.
```

Running behind? Drop prompts 2 and 4. Prompts 3 and 5 must survive.

**Spares (not in the run sheet timing; use if the room is fast, a demo output disappoints, or someone asks "can it do X"):**

```
Thank-you post for the Corner Hotel after Saturday's trivia night, ready to publish Sunday morning.
```

```
Reminder post for the working bee at the Cameron Corner Hall, Saturday 1 August, 8:00 am.
```

```
Turn the drought appeal into a short bulletin story for members who have not heard about it yet.
```

```
A warm welcome post for a new member, no personal details, just what joining our club means.
```

```
Draft a friendly reply to a Facebook comment asking "How do I join your club?"
```

Every spare runs on the Project alone, nothing extra to paste. Same 90-second rule applies.

---

## Segment 5: The website audit

**One paste, stale About page included:**

```
Here is our current About page:
The Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner was chartered in 2019 under Charter President John Smith. We are part of District 9670 and follow the Object of Rotary and The Four-Way Test. Meetings are held weekly and feature fellowship, Sergeant's sessions and fines. In 2019 we held our inaugural Changeover Dinner which was attended by the DG and several PDGs. Members are expected to maintain attendance requirements. For information contact the Secretary.
Audit it. What is out of date, what is missing, and what would a prospective member need to see? Also check it the way Google sees it: if someone searched for a Rotary club in our town, would this page show up and make sense? Then rewrite it.
```

What Claude should catch: wrong district (9670 merged into 9660), stale president and event, insider jargon, nothing about what the club does for the community, no way to join, and for the Google check: no town context and nothing a local would actually search for. If it misses one, point it out yourself; you are the editor.

---

## Segment 6: Canva, Gemini and Buffer

**Canva Magic Design (describe the design, then paste the top-5 output from rapid-fire 3):**

```
A Rotary club infographic in Royal Blue #17458f and Gold #f7a81b, friendly community feel, with these five points:
```

**Gemini poster prompt (run this in the Project; Claude writes the Gemini prompt):**

```
Write me a Gemini image prompt for a trivia night poster in that modern Rotary infographic style: cards, icons, our colours.
```

Then paste Claude's output into Gemini and attach the district logo image with it
(https://support.rotary9660.org.au/logo-colour.png, download before the session) so the poster
carries the real logo instead of a garbled drawn one. Buffer needs no prompts: paste the edited
trivia night post, attach the poster, schedule Thursday 8:00 am.

**Backups (full prompts, no live output needed):**

If rapid-fire 3 got lost or came out flat, paste this straight into Canva Magic Design:

```
A Rotary club infographic in Royal Blue #17458f and Gold #f7a81b, friendly community feel, with these five points:
Headline: Five reasons to join the Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner
1. Meet online: Wednesdays 7:00 pm, from anywhere in the outback, no travel
2. Real impact: 200 school breakfasts a week across three remote schools
3. Back the bush: hay runs and store vouchers, 43 farming families helped since 2023
4. Mates across three states: 28 members scattered over NSW, SA and Queensland
5. Try before you join: sit in on any Wednesday meeting as a guest, no obligation
```

If Claude's live Gemini prompt disappoints, skip it: the full trivia night poster prompt under "2. Gemini" in the comparison section below is complete and pastes into Gemini as is.

---

## The comparison: the same poster, three ways

Three expanded prompts describing the identical trivia night poster, one per tool. Run all three
and put the results side by side. The event facts, colours and wording are the same in each, so
the differences you see are the tools, not the brief.

**The shared poster spec** (identical in all three prompts):
A4 portrait. Headline TRIVIA NIGHT, subline Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner. Four detail cards:
Saturday 25 July / Corner Hotel / 6:30 pm / $15 a head. Impact line: Every dollar funds our
school breakfast program. Call to action: Book a table: message us on Facebook. Style: modern
infographic, rounded cards, simple flat icons, Royal Blue #17458f background, Gold #f7a81b
accents, white text, friendly community feel, clear space top-left for the club logo.

**1. Canva Magic Design:**

```
A4 portrait poster for a Rotary club trivia night, modern infographic style: rounded cards, simple flat icons, Royal Blue #17458f background, Gold #f7a81b accents, white text, friendly community feel. Headline: TRIVIA NIGHT. Subline: Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner. Four detail cards: Saturday 25 July, Corner Hotel, 6:30 pm, $15 a head. Impact line: Every dollar funds our school breakfast program. Call to action: Book a table: message us on Facebook. Leave clear space top-left for a logo.
```

If Canva complains about length, cut everything after "friendly community feel" and add the
wording by editing the template it generates.

**2. Gemini (paste directly, no Claude step needed). Attach the district logo with the prompt:**
download it from https://support.rotary9660.org.au/logo-colour.png beforehand and add it as an
image alongside the text. Never ask Gemini to draw a logo from description; it will garble it.

```
Create an A4 portrait poster for a community trivia night in a modern flat infographic style. Background: deep royal blue, hex #17458f. Accents: warm gold, hex #f7a81b. All text white or gold, spelled exactly as written here. Top: bold condensed headline "TRIVIA NIGHT" with a small gold question mark icon. Beneath it, smaller: "Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner". Middle: four rounded rectangle cards in a 2x2 grid, each with a simple flat gold line icon and one line of white text: calendar icon "Saturday 25 July", location pin icon "Corner Hotel", clock icon "6:30 pm", ticket icon "$15 a head". Below the grid, one gold banner strip with dark blue text: "Every dollar funds our school breakfast program". Bottom: white call-to-action text "Book a table: message us on Facebook". Place the attached Rotary District 9660 logo in the top-left corner exactly as supplied: do not redraw, recolour, crop or distort it, and keep clear space around it. Mood: friendly, warm, community event, clean and uncluttered, generous spacing, no photographs, no people, flat vector illustration style only.
```

If Gemini mangles the logo anyway, regenerate once asking it to leave the top-left corner empty
instead, then drop the logo in cleanly in Canva.

**3. Claude (in the Project; it builds the poster as an artifact you can screenshot or print):**

```
Create our trivia night poster as a single-page HTML artifact, A4 portrait. Modern flat infographic style: Royal Blue #17458f background, Gold #f7a81b accents, white text, rounded cards, simple icons. Headline TRIVIA NIGHT, subline our club name. Four detail cards: date, venue, time, price. Then the impact line about the breakfast program and a call to action to book a table via our Facebook page. Leave clear space top-left for our logo.
```

Note what just happened: the Claude prompt is the shortest, because the Project already knows the
date, venue, price and cause. The other two tools needed every fact spelled out. That IS the
comparison point.

**Claude backup (full prompt, works outside the Project or if the Project drops a fact):**

```
Create a trivia night poster as a single-page HTML artifact, A4 portrait. Modern flat infographic style: Royal Blue #17458f background, Gold #f7a81b accents, white text, rounded cards, simple flat icons, friendly community feel, generous spacing. Headline: TRIVIA NIGHT. Subline: Rotary eClub of Cameron Corner. Four detail cards in a 2x2 grid: Saturday 25 July, Corner Hotel, 6:30 pm, $15 a head. Below the grid, a gold banner: Every dollar funds our school breakfast program. Bottom call to action: Book a table: message us on Facebook. Leave clear empty space top-left for the club logo.
```

If you use the backup, skip the "shortest prompt" line in the narration; the point only lands
with the short version.

**What to say when the three are side by side:**

- Canva: a real, editable design. Weakest at following the brief exactly, strongest for fixing
  text and swapping the logo in. This is where you finish the poster.
- Gemini: the most striking image, but it is one flat picture. Check every word; regenerate once
  if the text garbles, then fix leftovers in Canva.
- Claude: every word spelled perfectly and the layout follows the brief, but simpler graphics.
  Screenshot or print the artifact, or paste its wording into Canva.
- The honest conclusion: Claude for words and structure, Gemini for flair, Canva to finish.
  Draft, not final, applies to all three.

## Segment 8: Q&A seeded prompts

If the room is quiet, or to demo an answer live:

```
Our club has no Facebook page. Give me a simple step-by-step plan to launch one, and draft our first three posts.
```

```
Write a short, friendly message I can send members asking them to like and share our posts, with one line on why it matters.
```

```
Turn our latest bulletin into three short blog posts for the club website.
```

For the youth photos question: do not demo it. Consent forms, no names with faces, district youth protection policy.
